ANNA ROBLAS

AT RESONANCE...

I am interested in learning processes in which shared knowledge is generated, where different roles are adopted and creative, interpretive and pedagogical potential can be developed simultaneously. In recent years I have delved into the relationship between the body's physiological processes and its expression in movement: the body as a system of systems and the awareness of the permanent transience between them, a fluid, multiple and unitary body at the same time.

BIO

My additional training outside of academia covers a wide range of movement techniques, dance and somatic practices. Throughout my professional career, I combine pedagogy, interpretation, choreography and movement advice in various entities and contexts. In the scenic field I collaborate with different creators and projects such as: Cia. Sol Picó, Anònima Imperial, Rami Levi, Carol Dilley, Teatre Lliure (Alex Rigola and Carlota Subirós), Pannick Teatro (Juan Carlos Martel), Cia. Norrdans (Sweden), Alex Mañas (Grec Festival), David Selvas (Girona High Season), Ferran Carbajal (Mercat de les Flors), Gran Teatro del Liceo, etc.

Since 2007 I have been developing a serial work in progress around the dances of death, the transformation of bodies subjected to extreme stress situations and the automobile collision understood as a mutation threshold. To date, this investigation has crystallized into three stage projects: "Shock # 1", "Shock # 2" and "Shock # 3".

In the educational and social context, I have participated developing management, coordination and teaching tasks in entities and centers since 1990. My teaching practice is aimed at all types of groups and student profiles. Since 2008 I have been part of the faculty of the Institut del Teatre (CSD and CPD) and this year I finished the certified training in Body Mind Centering.
