Contribution to Resonance

When we talk about dance technique, we generally associate the word with a codified method to learn about our body and its possibilities through practice. The technique has also been a common language, a series of recognized and studied guidelines that unify various dance styles. Increasingly and in various areas of pedagogy we are asking ourselves about the different ways and resources to learn and access knowledge of the body and its possibilities of movement, creation and interpretation. Do we recognize this new look and proposals to enter the body as a 'technique'? Should we redefine 'technique' and give it a more global meaning? Or maybe we need a new term?
