Some of her questions for this Resonance...

How to make the rapprochement between pedagogy and research an opportunity for some practices and concepts that deregulate bodies and their movements to stick together, rub against each other, and dislocate each other? Is contact and its tonal variation a field of battle and composting in which to cultivate slow and urgent questions for the present around skins, limits, eroticism and desire? How much and how do risk and panic intervene in the imaginaries of moving and touching, and security and certainty in the imaginaries of knowing?

BIO

Marie Bardet makes philosophy and also dance. She was born in a town in France and now lives in Buenos Aires. Her doing and her thinking cross the borders between theory and practice and are nourished as much by improvisation and somatic practices as by contemporary philosophy and feminist and queer/queer thought-practices. Throughout this arc, she tenses the problems that run through the bodies and politics, configuring common spaces of artistic multiplicity and situated thought.

She works as a teacher-researcher at EIDAES-UNSAM and directs the postgraduate course in Contemporary Artistic Practices at EAyP-UNSAM. She accompanies creative processes and residences (Transducciones 2021 CCHConti, 2022 CCK; collaboration with Amparo Gonzalez 2019-2021), gives independent workshops (Crítica y Clínica amb Josefina Zuain), she develops performatic conferences, she translates and writes books (Perder la cara, 2021, Una paradoja moviente: Loïe Fuller, 2021; Pensar con Mover, 2012; Hacer Mundos con Gestos, ed. Cactus, 2019).
