Marie Bardet / Winter_22

Marie Bardet makes philosophy and also dance. She was born in a town in France and now lives in Buenos Aires. Making her and thinking about her cross the borders between theory and practice and are nourished both by improvisation and somatic practices as well as by contemporary philosophy and feminist and queer/queer thoughts-practices. Throughout this arc, she tenses the problems that run through bodies and politics, configuring common spaces of artistic multiplicity and situated thought.

She works as a teacher-researcher at EIDAES-UNSAM and directs the postgraduate course in "Contemporary Artistic Practices" at EAyP-UNSAM. He accompanies creative processes and residencies (Transducciones 2021 CCHConti, 2022 CCK; collaboration with Ámparo Gonzalez 2019-2021), gives independent workshops (Crítica y Clínica with Josefina Zuain), develops scenic conferences, translates and writes books (Perder la cara, 2021, Una paradoja moviente: Loïe Fuller, 2021; Pensar con mover, 2012; Hacer mundos con gestos, ed. Cactus, 2019).
