Contribution to Resonance

Through my proposals, I try to make evident a sensitive, demanding and paradoxical "dance state" necessary for the performer's resonance.

Technical work is developed as a space for possibilities and exploration. It is part of a questioning dynamic: to what extent can I train as a dancer, and at the same time create my own margin, my own 'trouble'? How can I authorize the activation of the appearance and disappearance of the trace linked to the reality of my presence? How to ensure that the choreographic writing does not become an arrangement of steps, a finished product, an object, but has infinite potential for reworking?

BIO

Interpreter, choreographer and pedagogue, Pierre-Michaël trained from a very young age in classical ballet at the Perpignan Conservatory and later at the Marseille Opera School.

He opted for contemporary creation and began his career as a performer in several national and international companies, such as the Ballet Atlantique Régine Chopinot or the Compagnie Taffanel.

He is currently a teacher in France and abroad, where he develops a specific work with children and adults.

Through the foundations of contemporary dance, he implements a sensitive approach, which takes into account placing "the person" at the center of the work of interpretation, research and improvisation.
